Fujitsu Demos Bluetooth® Wireless-Based Sensor Devices in Mesh Networking and Augmented Reality IoT Applications at Sensors Expo 2017

San Jose, CA, June 19, 2017 Fujitsu Components America will demonstrate new Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless-based sensor products in various Internet of Things (IoT) applications during Sensors Expo 2017 in booth #1029 of the IoT and Wireless Pavilion.
“Industrial IoT continues to grow at a rapid pace,” said Bob Thornton, COO, Fujitsu Components America, Inc. “Bluetooth Low Energy provides an easy and efficient way to enable Internet connectivity for embedded devices through BLE-enabled platforms, like smartphones and tablets,” he said.

Booth demonstrations will include:

  • Fujitsu BlueBrain™ Sensor-Based System transmitting IoT data into a Microsoft® HoloLens Augmented Reality Headset to demonstrate an industrial troubleshooting and preventive maintenance application.
  • Fujitsu Bluetooth Low Energy mesh network technology driving a responsive, visual imaging wall capable of producing 1.6 million colors consisting of Yume Cloud GLOW Smart Cubes, a MEMs microphone, speaker, 5 LEDs, a 9-axis MEMs sensor, a battery charging circuit, and more.
  • Fujitsu Bluetooth Low Energy Sensor Beacon Device supporting the enmo Technologies IoT.Over.Beacon development platform for creating custom smartphone IoT apps in only a few minutes, using a menu-driven tool.
